There are plenty of drop shippers out there who are happy to hook you up with a diamond ring from a virtual inventory. James Allen is one of the more well known of the online “jewellers”. They are more of a technology company able to connect diamond wholesale companies and manufacturers with retail customers for a value added markup. Feel free to have a look at their slick website and build a ring like this one that was bought from them sometime in 2022. We found the cost to replicate something like this is around $3,200.00 CAD.
The beautiful centre stone is an oval brilliant cut diamond with a perfect colour of D, a very good “eye clean” clarity of VS2, faint fluorescence, excellent polish, and very good clarity. We love the fact this diamond has a very flattering 1.59:1 length to width ratio, a nice 58.1% depth, and a 61% table. These qualities distinguish this diamond form less valuable low quality cut examples that don’t sparkle like this one. The measurements of 7.39mm x 4.63mm make this natural diamond appear much larger that the weight suggests. The Gemological Institute of America report for the diamond can be seen online here. This pretty diamond has been set in a James Allen four prong Tiffany style solitaire with a skinny 1.6mm wide shank.
The setting is a simple and classic design that is easy to match with a wedding ring and never goes out of style. If you’re not a size 7, one of our onsite goldsmiths can adjust the fit up or down as required in only a few days. The ring is in like new condition as it was only worn for a short period of time. It comes with a copy of the GIA report, the original James Allen box, and polishing cloth.
