There is a high coefficient of bling relative to the price for this natural diamond pendant. Measuring the diamonds and conservatively calculating their approximate weight results in 0.75 carats. Diamonds are priced by the carat; so even if we only value the setting and chain according to the recyclable gold content of $175.00 at today’s gold price (March 11, 2025), we’ve priced the 9 diamonds at only $300.00 per carat!!! Other than industrial diamonds or lab-grown diamonds, you can’t buy anything that resembles decent quality for just $300.00 per carat.
That’s one of the benefits of our estate jewellery, it offers outstanding value, often times it is priced below the wholesale replacement cost. This classic bar pendant is contains 3 good sized round brilliant cut diamonds of I1 clarity with a fancy brown body colour, bridged by 6 bead set small round diamonds.
The gold prongs and beads have been enhanced with bright white rhodium enhancing the brown hue of these fancy colour stones. The pendant is suspended from a light rope chain 18 inches long. The pendant, chain, and diamonds weight a little over 2 grams in total. Chain and pendant are both in excellent condition. Estate priced at $400.00 CAD. Stock #161-00309.
