Natural garnets can be one of the most spectacular looking coloured stones available. They are available in a wide range of colours, shapes, and sizes. The traditional dark slightly brownish red hues are one of the most affordable varieties and showcase a colour similar to a fine red wine.
They have a high refractive index and excellent reflective properties giving them a lot of sparkle. The garnet is surrounded by a thin halo frame that is bead set with 16 tiny round natural diamonds. This is a delicate double gallery design but more than sturdy enough for everyday wear.
It is suspended from a light weight 10 karat cable link necklace measuring 18 inches in length with a spring ring clasp. The total weight of the chain and pendant is 2.9 grams. The pendant and necklace are in new condition and look like they have never been worn.
