1.25ct. tw. SI2-I cushion halo diamond ring split shank 4.3gr. 14kt. $2,100.00 CAD. 101-00636

This ring captures all the most popular themes in modern engagement ring style. I do not think this ring is any older than a couple years. Cushion shaped halos are one of our best sellers. The split shank design with milgrain detail, bead set shoulder diamonds running down the shank and hand engraved highlights in the gallery add sparkle and bling from every direction. The bezel set pink sapphires on each side of setting are a cheery playful highlight to this contemporary ring. The ring comes with an April 2019 appraisal from Shelemay Jewellery Appraisals Ltd. It is a thorough document that describes in good detail the components and their quality that are contained in the ring. The ring is described to contain 1.50 carats total weight of pink sapphires and diamonds of SI2-HI quality. Our cautious and conservative opinion and appraisal approach calculates a total weight of closer to 1.30 carats. The April 2019 Shelemay appraisal suggests a retail value of $7,600.00 plus sales tax. Our more competitive opinion of replacement value is quite a bit less. As a lightly used, previously enjoyed ring we have it priced at just $2,100.00 CAD. Stock #101-00636.

1998 Omega Speedmaster “Triple-Date” 3520.50.00 39mm. $2,700.00 CAD. 510-00221

In the 1990s Omega discovered the exceptional talent of Formula 1 driver Michael Schumacher and signed him as an ambassador for their Speedmaster line of watches. Omega was on a roll with the recent success of the James Bond series of Seamaster watches and now they had signed perhaps the greatest driver of all time. Although model 3520.50.00 was never officially labeled “The Schumacher” he was pictured with this watch in many of Omega’s promotional advertisements. After being awarded his 5th consecutive world driving title things really got rolling with the marketing power behind the Schumacher name. Various named models and numbered editions came out every year honoring this racing legend. This model is the most true to its design inspiration Moonwatch. The flat black dial with all its information can seem a bit daunting at initial introduction but within no time all available information is easily deciphered. The large bright white hour and minute hands along with large stick hour markers are treated with luminous material to allow instant time interpretation day or night. The 12 hour chronograph register hands are all nicely lined up vertically. A 24 hour dial with broad arrow hand sits at the 9:00 position displaying the hours of the day in full Arabic numerals. The “triple date” moniker comes from the fact this watch displays the day of the month (rocket shaped, white tipped long black centre hand), day of the week and the month of the year in the cut out windows at 12:00. A handy tachymeter scale outlines the bezel that can be used for calculating  units per hour. Our example is in very good condition retaining its original finish on all surfaces. The automatic Omega modified Valjoux 7751 movement housed within the 39mm stainless steel case is keeping excellent time with all functions working as designed. There is something very satisfying about operating a mechanical chronograph watch that a quartz model just can’t duplicate. As far as bang for the buck goes this has to be one of the best kept secrets in the watch world. This model is no longer available and I’m sure it’s destined to become a future classic collectible. Comes with its original red box, pictogram card, plastic product tag with product/serial number. Including our 1 year Bill Le Boeuf Jewellers one year warranty the watch is estate priced at $2,700.00. Stock 510-00221.

2004 Zenith El Primero Chronomaster, Triple-Date, Moonphase, 40mm, 01.0240.410. $7,500.00 CAD. 501-00402

Zenith; you may not know the name but you know their work. Their El Primero automatic movement helped save the mechanical watch in 1969 when the quartz revolution started gaining ground. Traditional manual-wind watches were pretty much all that was available since the second world war. Most ran at reliable but slow 18,000 beats per hour. Consumers were eager for the accuracy the new ultra technically advanced electronic quartz watches promised. Then Zenith unveiled it’s El Primero, the first ever automatic chronograph tuned to an unheard of frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour. The movement was so ground breaking it’s still undefeated in speed by any production movement available for mass consumption. Until the year 2000 Rolex used the El Primero movement for the Daytona chronograph but even they “detuned” the movement to 28,800 vibrations per hour keeping the pace to that of their own in house movements. It took Zenith 7 years to develop this 31 jewel masterpiece movement. It’s no surprise you can find it basically unchanged now well into its 5th decade of production. The 10 hertz movement is also remarkable in the fact it has more than two days of power reserve despite the highspeed balance wheel bleeding away power faster than any other regular production movement. This El Primero is the nicest Zenith we’ve had in a long time. A classic silver dial with applied Roman indexes. Not just a super fast chronograph able the divide seconds into tenths, it is also a “triple-date” calendar displaying the day of the month, day of the week, and month of the year in small cut out windows on the dial. An additional surprise can been seen at the 6:00 o’clock position. The crescent shaped window reveals the current phase of 29 1/2 day cycle of the moon. The elegantly designed case features a stepped bezel/lugs, domed sapphire crystal, vintage looking oval pushers, and a display case-back showcasing the intricate calibre 410Z made from close to 400 components. It is one of the most complicated movements in production but the watchmakers at Zenith are able to keep the total thickness to only 13.2mm in total thickness. Attached to the 40mm case is a signed Zenith genuine crocodile strap in excellent hardly worn condition. Included with purchase is an additional crocodile strap with sporty white stitching and red backing. The watch is in excellent overall condition and appears to have only occasionally been worn. It comes complete with all packaging, documentation, never used polishing cloth, and day/moon phase pusher tool. There is quite a bit to the elaborate presentation. The watch is accompanied with a one year Bill Le Boeuf Jewellers warranty. Chronomaster watches are quite uncommon, we’ve had a few El Primero equipped Zenith before but this is the first Chronomaster we’ve even had the pleasure to showcase. Zenith are still producing contemporary Chronomaster models with starting prices as just shy of $20,000.00. Our 2004 Chronomaster is estate priced at $7,500.00 CAD. Stock #501-00402.

Custom18-22kt. diamond feather pendants, 0.25ct. VS-GH, 9.0gr. $2,958.00 (sold separately) 161-00342 61-00343

Feathers have been used as items of decoration pretty much as long as humans have been around. Aside from the fleeting beauty of a flower blossom, there are few natural objects more beautiful of a colourful feather. These custom made feather pendants expertly capture the spirit and accuracy of the real thing. The fine parallel texture is reminiscent of a Florentine finish mimicking the locking fibres of a bird feather, every once in while the pattern is broken with a space the same as you’d expect in a real feather. Excellence of manufacture and high quality are showcased in premium 18 karat and ultra high end 22 karat gold with VS-GH single cut diamonds. The warm yellow gold has a slight blush hue likely attributed to a tiny amount of copper added into the 91.6% pure gold alloy. The 18 karat white gold section forms the tapering calamus running down almost to the tip of each feather. A little sparkle has been achieved by adding 25 graduated high quality (VS-GH) single cut diamonds to the bright white gold. They have been expertly bead set with perfectly formed bright cut diagonal accents and millgrain edging. These pendants truly showcase the work of a master goldsmith. The two-tone design allows the pendants to be worn with either yellow or white gold chains. Large hidden bails in the back will accept a variety of chain styles and sizes. They can be worn separately or as a flattering set. We are selling them individually but we hope they stay together. The small pendant measures 3.7cm long, weighs 2.4 grams, and contains 7 diamonds (0.05ct. tw.), the large feather is 6.3cm long, weighs 7.4 grams, with 20 diamonds (0.20ct. tw.). The pictured chains are not included with purchase but give you an idea of how they hang. They are both in perfect condition and have not been restored, polished, or refinished in any way. Estate priced at $718.00 and $2,240.00 CAD. Stock #161-00342 & 161-00343.

2023 Rolex Oyster 34 124200 uncommon pink dial $9,500.00 CAD. 505-00614

There is more to colour than just the basic spectral hue (red, blue, yellow etc.). There are two additional components to consider. Tone refers how dark or light the colour as and saturation describes how intense the colour is. Rolex have an amazing command of colours; they know just how much of each characteristic to apply when deciding on what their fancy dials look like. To call this just a pink dial does it no justice. It has very little saturation with a light tone. Add to that the classic “sunburst” finish giving this pink champagne dial a life of its own that is hard to put into words and needs to be seen in person. The sunburst finish rolls around the dial as the watch is moved causing more or less tone radiating from the centre. Rolex is careful and cautious when producing dials other than white, black, or silver for stainless steel watches. They never seem to manufacture too many of the more exotic hues. Even when there is huge demand for these fancy colours, they’re always rare and always a treat when one shows up in our estate department. We’ve only hand a handful of pink dial Rolex pass through here and this is the first 124200 Oyster 34 we’ve ever had. We estimate this particular colour is seen on less than 10% of production despite the high demand. This isn’t a colour you’re likely to see at any Rolex boutique. The raised 18 karat white gold luminous hour markers and hands are the classic rectangular shape. The watch was purchased new in the Summer of 2023 and has been carefully worn by a Bill Le Boeuf Jewellers customer in rotation with watches in her collection. It comes complete with everything delivered from the authorized agent, including the inner/outer box, endorsed warranty card, instructions, and hanging bracelet tags. The uncluttered functional dial with smooth bezel and sporty oyster bracelet make this watch the perfect accessory for an active lifestyle. An adjustable “easylink” allows a 5mm length extension on the bracelet is a handy feature for those hot and humid days. A super scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, threaded twin lock crown, and a screw-on case back allow for a 100-meter water-resistant rating. There are a few minor scuffs, scratches on the case and bracelet but none are distracting. We are happy to report the watch has never been polished or refinished in anyway. The 34mm size is the perfect size for the casual look on a woman’s arm. As per usual, Rolex sizing description isn’t as described; by our digital calipers this watch actually measures 33mm diameter making it a little more comfortable still. This size has proven to be very popular, it’s almost always sold out at Rolex agents and is seldom seen in display cases. Being a 2023 model this watch benefits from the Rolex 5-year international warranty good until the summer of 2028. Estate priced at $9,500.00 CAD. Stock #505-00614.
