23.75ct. white opal & ruby (1.00ct. tw.) dinner ring, sz. 7, 14kt., 18.1gr. $3,250.00 CAD. 206-00652

Jewellery should be fun, and I can’t think of anything more fun when it comes to jewellery than a colourful 23.75 carat white opal ring! It’s more than the weight of this monster opal, it’s how the weight is distributed. White opals are opaque, so being cut overly deep does nothing to enhance the appearance, it just makes them difficult to set and weigh more. This opal is all about how is faces up, and it faces up huge, measuring 36.0mm x 20.4mm and only 5.7mm in depth. The depth is more than enough to provide adequate strength but not so deep as to add useless additional weight. What you get with this one of a kind ring is a genuine rainbow coloured party on your finger. The cabochon cut opal is bezel set with a complete frame of gold to protect the gem’s edges. If a 23 carat opal isn’t enough, it has been embellished with 34 round faceted natural rubies measuring 1.8mm diameter. The bright red accents add a further 1.00 carat of gem weight to this over the top dinner ring. It measures a finger size 7 and can easily be made bigger or smaller to fit any finger you wish. It’s not just about the monster opal, this custom made ring was crafted to a high standard using over 13 grams (net weight) of 14 karat yellow gold. Large rings require structural integrity and thoughtful design. A solid shank measuring 3.1mm wide with cathedral shoulders ties the pierced contoured gallery together. The large opal exhibits classic pinfire play of colour characterized by a mesmerizing pastel colours arranged in tightly packed pinpoint flashes of spectral colours scattered across the gem’s surface. Still images can never do a ring like this justice, this playful ring must be seen in person. Almost impossible to duplicate and estate priced at $3,250.00 CAD. Stock #206-00652.

Omega Seamaster Co-Axial Chronograph 42MM 2 extra straps 212.30.42.50.01.001 $4,600.00 CAD. 510-00229

Whenever we get one of these they usually don’t stick around for very long. The “James Bond” Seamaster 300 series has become one of Omega’s most iconic designs since it was introduced way back in 1993. Over the years specifications have changed but the basic format with that distinctive 9 segment link bracelet has been a constant. This example is the Seamaster co-axial chronograph 212.30.42.50.01.001. Our latest estate Seamaster is in very good condition. It appears to have only been worn occasionally as there are just superficial scuffs on the bottom of the bracelet, buckle, and polished sections of the case. It has never been refinished and remains in original condition. Powering this watch is Omega’s calibre 3330 and features co-axial escapement, column wheel chronograph with high tech silicone hairspring that is virtually impervious to strong magnetic fields. Screw down crown/case back, one way timer bezel, luminous hands/markers, calendar display, and of course a 12 hour chronograph should keep even a hardened watch geek entertained. When fitted with the original stainless steel bracelet the 42mm diameter watch weighs around 200 grams. The previous owner fit an Omega red rally strap to give it a more casual look and lighten the load a bit. With the rally strap in place the total weight dropped significantly to just 115 grams. If you’re a big guy or don’t mind a little bulk on your arm the Seamaster Diver 300 with the steel bracelet is definitely a watch you should check out. In addition to the rally this watch also comes with an Omega black and red nylon waterproof NATO strap. These straps offer the ultimate in security. The one piece design means even if you break a spring bar the watch stays attached to your wrist. The watch comes with an Omega travel capsule that is big enough to hold the 2 extra straps, original stainless steel bracelet, and plenty of replacement spring bars if you want to change the look while keeping everything organized. The jet black ceramic bezel is fade proof and many times harder than the old anodized aluminum inserts found on the early generations. A glossy black dial has replaced the old wave textured dial for a more sophisticated and mature look. Omega are still producing a Seamaster 300 Chronograph with a black dial on bracelet. They have returned to the wave dial making this model a little more unique. The current version is even larger at 44mm and carries a retail price of $12,200.00. Including Bill Le Boeuf Jewellers one year warranty and Omega box with instructions, the watch is priced at $4,600.00 CAD. Stock #510-00229.

8mm reversible Huggie earrings, 8.15 grams 14 karat gold. $1,500.00 CAD. 426-00367

Huggie earrings are customer favorites. Compact design, comfortable, and easy to wear are their key features. This pair is even more versatile as they are reversible. The traditional front side showcases a deeply textured XXXX pattern, while the back has been polished to a mirror finish. Shiny or patterned, it’s up to you depending on your mood. This two in one pair of earrings are not only on great design, they are about as robustly built as they come. They measure 8.0mm wide with a diameter of just over 1/2 of an inch. The thick cast sections measure 0.7mm thick and weigh a total of 8.15 grams (over 1/4 of an ounce). Heavy gauge wire posts snap into the lock with a reassuring click letting you know they won’t be going anywhere. Finding sturdy jewellery at good price is becoming increasingly difficult with the high cost of gold. Thank goodness we have good selection of like new estate items priced waaaaaay below their replacement value. Even with the recent decline in gold prices, this pair of Huggie earrings still contains over $1,000.00 in just scrap gold value as of today (January 31, 2026). The cuff design never goes out of style and these ones will easily last a lifetime. They are in like new condition and estate priced at $1,500.00 CAD. 426-00367.

2019 Tudor Black Bay 41 Diver two-tone champagne 79733N $4,800.00 CAD. 505-00528

A champagne dial divers watch is a little usual and we love it. Almost every diver watch comes with a black , blue, or sometimes white face. The sunburst champagne on this Tudor is a sophisticated mature look that really grows on you. The yellow trim of the bezel, crown, and bracelet enhances the luxury look, but this still performs as a serious divers tool. Once we saw this combination in person we quickly changed our opinion of what a divers watch could look like. It’s retro/vintage in spirit but don’t be fooled, the Black Bay diver series are of thoroughly modern specification. The crystal looks like a plastic dome design from decades ago, when in fact it has been ground from super tough and scratch-resistant lab-grown synthetic sapphire. It offers exceptional hardness and perfect optical properties day or night. The threaded crown and case-back provide a conservative water resistance rating of 200 meters. Beating within the 41mm stainless steel case is Tudor’s in house designed and manufactured MT5612 automatic winding movement. The 26-jewel mechanism secured inside sets the bar for certified chronometer accuracy levels at this price point. There isn’t much else on the market offering a 70-hour power reserve, plus a useful calendar that doesn’t cost substantially more. Its silicon hairspring and balance wheel are almost identical to what Rolex use. The exotic material these components are made from are far more stable when exposed to high magnetic fields and shocks. The classic champagne dial may look a little bit old fashion but seen in person the look is a winner. The sunburst finish and neutral hue are easy on the eyes and blend with any casual outfit. This watch was worn intermittently in rotation with other watches owned by the previous owner. Is has not been polished or refinished before. There are very minor scuffs and scratches on the case and bracelet but nothing significant. Canadian delivered to a Tudor authorized authorized agent in the summer of 2019. This very good condition Black Bay is still available new from Tudor and shows a price of $9,570.00 CAD on the Tudor website. Comes with the original inner/outer boxes, instructions, guarantee/chronometer certification booklet, endorsed warranty card, paper product hang tag, and white foam box liner, this watch is estate priced at $4,800.00 CAD. Stock #505-00528.

7.8mm bright-cut ball with 18″ rolo chain, Italian made, 14kt., 3.5gr. $720.00 CAD. 436-00299

It’s not always the complex elaborate designs that catch our eye when it comes to a piece of jewellery for our Vintage Spotlight. We certainly didn’t plan on this simple ball pendant to showcase but there is something about it that grabs your attention. The highly polished and bright-cut sphere sparkles like the world’s tiniest disco ball. No front or back to the sliding rolling pendant, just a 7.8mm ball machine engraved with incredible precision. Each of the flat surfaces twinkles with the slightest movement. The 18 inch rolo style necklace also has been given the bright-cut treatment as each link has 4 microscopic flat beveled sections. They are imperceptible individually, but collectively they add to the overall visual impact. Of course a precisely manufactured item like this was crafted in Italy. The necklace is secured by a sturdy lobster clasp. This item is in like new condition and has never been polished, the factory applied rhodium finish is fully intact. The pierced ball pendant slides effortless over the rounded links and will always stay perfectly centred. Add some effortless sparkle to you day with this necklace/pendant set for the estate price of $720.00 CAD. Stock #436-00299.
