18kt. Art Deco inspired sapphire & diamond dinner ring 1.20ct. tw. 5.0gr. sz. 6. $1,500.00 CAD. 206-00533

Expertly crafted in luxurious 18 karat yellow gold, this striking ring presents a refined elongated octagonal design that exudes both structure and sophistication. Although the piece is a modern creation, it draws deeply from Antique-inspired Art Deco design, capturing the bold geometry, sculptural volume, and expressive elegance that defined early 20th-century jewellery. Featured at the heart of the ring, a richly saturated oval sapphire (approximately 2.5mm x 4.0mm in size) sits atop the ring bezel set in yellow gold displaying a velvety, cornflower-blue hue with remarkable depth and allure. A scintillating halo of pavé-set diamonds totalling 0.20 carats surrounds the centre stone, introducing a luminous contrast of bright white sparkle and amplifying the ring’s overall brilliance. Radiating outward from this central composition, a meticulously arranged array of calibre-cut baguette sapphires in various dimensions forms the outer frame of the octagonal design. These elongated tapered baguette stones are set in a precise, sunburst-like formation, evoking the impression of cerulean rays beaming from the centre. This dynamic configuration creates a mesmerizing interplay of light and movement, as each sapphire captures and refracts light in a subtly shifting display, lending the ring an almost kinetic quality when worn. The juxtaposition of the deep blue sapphires against the glittering diamonds and the warm, burnished tones of 18 karat yellow gold results in a composition that is both dramatic and harmonious. The thoughtful craftsmanship, evident in the elevated setting techniques and openwork of the under-gallery, further enhance the ring’s dimensionality allowing light to permeate through the stones to reveal both the depth of colour and dazzling interplay of light. Weighing a robust 5 grams overall, this ring offers a satisfying presence while remaining quite delicate on the finger and comfortable for daily wear. Its bold yet balanced proportions, coupled with its radiant, architectural design, make it an exceptional statement piece. Currently a size 6 with room to adjust up or down, it is a compelling addition to any fine jewellery collection. Representing exceptional value at the estate price of $1,500.00 CAD. This ring offers a rare combination of modern craftsmanship with a nostalgic sensibility, resulting in a design that feels both enduring and refreshingly distinctive. An ideal choice for those who appreciate evocative design, richly saturated gemstones, and the enduring charm of Antique-inspired elegance reimagined for the present day. Stock #206-00533.

Longines Grande Vitesse automatic chronograph L6 635 4 42mm $1,700.00 CAD. 501-00290

There are few watch brands with a longer history and more significant achievements than Longines. Since the earlier part of the 1800s, they’ve consistently produced high-quality timepieces. Early on the company experienced great success in the United States with chronographs used for precise timing during sporting activities. They were making watches with certified chronometer accuracy levels well before the turn of the 20 century. In keeping with the company’s sporting tradition, our latest estate watch by Longines features a very easy-to-operate and interpret 3 register 12-hour chronograph display. The silver dial with large hour markers and hands is also very legible with the added tachymeter scale for calculating units per hour with a range of 56 to 2000. A small continuous seconds hand and calendar add more utility.  The 42mm solid stainless steel case features a large display window in the case back revealing the beautiful Longines 27 jewel calibre L683.2 (modified Valjoux 7753). It is keeping great time with all functions working as designed. The watch is in very good overall condition. The bracelet and case are showing a few shallow scratches that can easily be removed if you’d like us to do so at no charge. The full complement of adjusting links allows the watch to fit a wrist of up to just under 9 inches. Including a Longines box and a 1 year Bill Le Boeuf Jewellers warranty, the watch is estate priced at $1,700.00 CAD. Stock #501-00290.

Gents 14kt. Tag Heuer style diamond ring 0.50ct. I2-OP, 12.6gr., sz. 10. $2,000.00 CAD. 116-00074

We’ve seen rings inspired by Rolex watches multiple times before, but we’ve never a ring with obvious design motivation from the Tag Heuer Link and Sports Elegance (S’el) series of watches that were so popular in the 1990s. The fully jointed two tone bracelet link sections have been reproduced in miniature scale on the shoulders of the ring. Even the bottom section of the shank looks similar to the fold over watch buckle. This solid gold “buckle” section is handy for us if we need to adjust the size 10 ring. The top of the ring looks just like the two-tone watch case. Secured in a coin edge bezel that resembling the rotating bezel of the watch is set a round brilliant cut diamond estimated to weigh 0.50 carats. The diamond isn’t of the finest quality but it does an admirable job of sparkling as the ring is moved. Our experienced Gemologist has assigned an I1-OP quality with a good cut to the diamond. This ring is a complicated design consisting of 26 individual 14 karat gold pieces painstakingly assembled in Italy by a highly skilled craftsman. This sturdy ring weighs a significant 12.6 grams. Estate priced at $2,000.00 CAD. Stock #116-00074

***RARE*** 1979 Rolex 4089W 14kt. white gold diamond presentation watch, 15mm. $2,500.00 CAD. 505-00655

For over a century, a gold watch was the traditional gift for recognition of service; often given by an employer to mark a significant milestone or upon retirement. Famous Canadian department store Eaton’s was famous for presenting its 25 year employees with a solid gold Rolex watch. Not to be outdone, rival department store Simpsons department store did the same thing. Both stores opened around 1870 and had a significant presence across Canada for over 100 years. Their flagship stores in downtown Toronto operated right across the street from each other. Changing economic forces and trends finished both retail empires off toward the end of the 20th century. Eaton’s went bankrupt in 1999, Simpsons was acquired by Canada’s oldest company Hudson’s Bay Co. in the late 1970s and they closed Simpsons brand as a corporate restructuring in 1991. Recently in 2025 Hudson’s Bay Company declared bankruptcy and closed all its remaining stores. This little Rolex is part Canadian department store history and was gifted to a 25 year employee of Simpsons.  I’m sure it was a treasured possession of the original owner as it is appears in practically new condition. It looks unpolished and original. The engraved dedication on the case back looks like it was done yesterday. The simple silver dial is perfect. The only blemish is where the inside bezel applies pressure that keeps the movement tight in the case. This would have happened when the factory snapped the back shut close to 50 years ago. It is invisible when the watch is fully assembled. A pressure mark like this is completely normal and would be expected on every watch designed in such a  way. The signed winding crown still displays the Rolex coronet logo in great detail. The black suede finish strap is also perfect, featuring an American made JB gold filled buckle showing no wear. The double safety buckle also comes with a safety chain attached. The tiny 15mm case contains Rolex’ hand wind 18 jewel calibre 1400 with a surprisingly long 44 hour power reserve and a slower beat rate of 21,600 per hour. It was produced from the 1960s into the 1980s for small cocktail watches like this. Measuring under 14mm in diameter it is the smallest movement ever produced by Rolex. This is a very rare Rolex. These models seldom turn up on the secondary market. Reference 4089W showcases a solid 14 karat white gold case set with two 0.08 carat round brilliant cut diamonds on each lug. The diamonds are of excellent quality and cut, VS-GH or better. Perhaps even more rare than the watch is the original spring loaded hinged box and product tag. It’s hard to put a price on the box, but I think it’s safe to say the box alone has got to be worth at least $1,000.00. The box is in very good condition with a stain free vivid green interior. We will not sell the box separately. This one owner watch is running great and keeping time. We are happy to include a one year warranty. Estate price $2,500.00 CAD. Stock #505-00655.

12.2mm wide, Gucci link bracelet, 9 inches long, sterling silver, 21.7 grams. $250.00 CAD. 651-00179

We’re not known for a great selection  of sterling silver jewellery. Most of the silver we buy and sell is in the form of coins and bullion. Once in a while we get a great silver item that needs to find a forever home. This puffy Gucci link is one of those items that should be showcased to a wider audience than just our walk in customers. Although it is hollow it still weighs a substantial 21.7 grams. The connecting rings are solid, only the puffy sections are hollow. I don’t think you’d want a bracelet of this design made solid as the substantial extra weight of the large links would prematurely wear out the smaller connecting rings. This is truly a case of less is more. This is a good sized bracelet measuring 12.mm wide and 9 inches in total length. It will fit most wrists, and is suitable for both women and men. It can easily be shortened to smaller more averaged sized wrists. It’s in excellent condition showing no stretch or worn sections. Secured by an easy to use oversized lobster clasp. We just gave if a light polish to reveal its bright white finish. Sterling silver is far more white than white gold and does not require rhodium plating, just the occasional cleaning and perhaps a light polish if you want to maintain a mirror finish. This timeless Gucci link design bracelet is estate priced at $250.00 CAD. Stock #651-00179.
