EFFY sapphire & diamond ring 0.95ct.tw. 3.0gr. never worn $1,092.00 CAD. 999-16452

EFFY Jewellery turns up in our estate department from time to time and always proves to be popular with our customers looking for high quality well made fashionable jewellery. Effy use better than average components for their creations. This never worn ring is great example of what they do so well. Solid construction upgraded 14 karat white gold weighing over 3 grams. Typically we’d see simple baguette cut, inky dark blue sapphires in this style of ring. We’re happy the Effy decided to showcase much more flattering more complicated princess cut natural sapphires showcasing a beautiful bright royal blue hue. The seven 2.5mm x 2.5mm sapphires are contrasted 12 tiny round brilliant cut natural diamonds that have been bead set into the bar settings providing some sparkle. This ring appears to be in unworn condition. The original factory bright white rhodium finish remains completely intact. This ring in a current offering in Effy’s website where it is priced at $2,545.00, they suggest it has an estimated retail value of $3,635.00. We have this size 7 ring estate priced at only $1,092.00 CAD. Stock #999-16452.

2010 Omega Chronoscope 4850.50.31 41mm, rare model. $6,500.00 CAD. 510-00104

Omega’s De Ville Chronoscope 4850.50.31 on the black padded crocodile strap has got to be one of the most striking watches ever produced by the 178 year old Swiss luxury watch manufacturer. From the large 41mm polished stainless steel case, to the beautiful “smiley face” silver on black dial, this watch has almost too many great details to mention. Even the presentation box is worth mentioning, with a thick coating of lacquer over rich reddish brown wood with beautiful graining and applied vintage Omega logo. The dial is a miniature work of art too. Counter sunk circular graining on the chronograph registers, faceted  hour markers, applied Omega logo, delicately framed large calendar window, luminous hands, beautiful raised text printing, the dial really twinkles as the watch is worn. As pretty as the outside is, the inner works are an exercise in mechanical art. Omega’s 37 jewel calibre 3313 keeps time to chronometer level accuracy with a long 52 hour power reserve. The clear display case back reveals the highly engineered, beautifully decorated automatic movement for all to see. An easy to use, locking deployment buckle is contoured to the shape of your wrist making the watch a treat to wear. Purchased brand new from Bill Le Boeuf Jewellers in March 2010. It is in very good condition showing minor wear from occasional use only. It is completely original right down to the factory delivered black crocodile leather strap. The case and deployment buckle have never been polished or refinished. Comes complete with all of the original packaging, instructions and endorsed warranty card. Bill Le Boeuf Jewellers will cover the watch with our 1 year in house warranty. Before this model was retired it carried a retail price of $7,300.00 USD. Our estate price is $6,500.00 CAD. Stock #510-00104.

8.5 gram raw gold natural nugget pendant. $2,000.00 CAD. 436-00358

Sometimes Mother Nature can produce jewellery better than any human jewellery designer/goldsmith. The beautiful natural form of this gold nugget is surely why it was spared from being refined after it was discovered. Gold is thought to be around 4.5 billion years old and was likely delivered to earth by asteroid impact. Gold can’t be formed on earth, it was created in stars and scattered across the universe before the our solar system even existed. What makes this nugget specimen especially attractive is the relatively even distribution of what we believe to be translucent quartz crystals trapped inside. A small connecting ring and jump-ring were soldered to the top to allow it to be worn on a cord or chain necklace. The nugget measures approximately 19mm tall and weighs 8.5 grams. It’s a beautiful wearable object and maybe even be a decent long term investment that will appreciate with the price of gold. This one of a kind natural work of art is estate priced at $2,000.00 CAD. Stock #436-00358.

2026 (2 weeks old) Tudor Ranger 36mm 79930. $4,750.00 CAD 505-00660

This is the very popular Tudor ranger. Newly designed in 2025 to much fanfare among Tudor enthusiasts. The throwback design looks the the Rangers from the 1960s but this one is a very comfortable 36mm in diameter and only 11.2mm in thickness. It may look retro-vintage but this ranger showcases many features the originals lacked. The movement powering this classic field watch is Tudor’s own design that is fully manufactured in house. A 70 hour power reserve is close to twice of the original movement that was sourced from an outside manufacturer. Tudor claim this movement to be “weekend proof”, take it off on Friday night and it will still be still be running on Monday morning. The accuracy levels of the MT5400 mechanism is well above the minimum standards for chronometer certification. Tudor claim this 27 jewel automatic winding mechanism is accurate to  -2 to +4 seconds per day! Tudor have opted to keep the dial uncluttered and simple. Their is no mention of the chronometer grade movement within the Oyster case. Just the necessary information for clear time interpretation. A few Arabic numbers just like the originals and stick markers plot out the hours with a subtle minute track on the outer edge. The markers and hands are treated with some of the most luminous stuff on the market, turning night into day when the lights go out. A domed sapphire crystal looks like the original plastic but is hundreds of times harder while offering superior optics. The solid link bracelet showcases a fliplock buckle with 5 micro adjustments cleverly concealed under the buckle. Tudor call this the “T-Fit”, allowing up to 8mm of extra length for those hot humid days. You can adjust the fit on the go without the need of any tools. The headline is correct, this watch is only 2 weeks old as of this post. It was worn for less than two days before the owner decided it wasn’t for him. We are now offering it for a slight discount under its replacement price. It comes complete with the original inner/outer box, documents, endorsed warranty card, 5-year international warranty (less 2 weeks). The warranty is valid for the next owner until March 30th, 2031. In addition to the box and paperwork, the watch comes with some extra accessories normally not included. It comes with a small and large travel pouch, snap closed folding wallet/card holder, a very cool key chain featuring the Tudor shield logo, snowflake hour hand, rose logo and belt loop clasp. A hard cover 100 2026 product catalogue and  Tudor shopping bag completer the package. The watch is in perfect condition. The only blemish we found is a small witness mark on the brushed finish of the threaded case back where the inside of buckle touches. This is the first of the new 36mm Rangers we’ve showcased in our estate collection. The watch is estate priced at $4,750.00 CAD. Stock #505-00660.

10 karat gold chains $133.00 per gram (many to choose from). 431-00997, 431-01085, 431-01106

Pricing jewellery in an ever changing gold market is like trying to shoot a moving target. Over the past 90 days the price of gold has fluctuated from a high of almost $7,500.00 per ounce to a low of $5,800.00 CAD. Unlike many consumer products that require many different components and manufacturing processes to produce, the price of a basic chain or simple ring is largely dependant on the cost of gold. Fine silver, other alloys, machinery, craftsman, and the need to make a profit in order to stay in business are all considerations, but it’s mostly the cost of gold that determines the price of basic jewellery items. Simple as the formula is, few vendors will advertise the price of a gold chain in a way to determine value. Our estate jewellery (without precious gems) is pretty much priced by the gram. The price changes all the time and we try to keep up to date with the market. As of today, the price of gold is trading at around $ 6,600.00 per ounce Canadian. At that price our 10 karat gold chain is valued at $133.00 per gram. We have many styles, lengths, and weights available. All are in excellent condition without measurable wear and no previous repairs. In addition to our 10 karat selection we also showcase many in 14 and 18 karat, also priced by the gram. We’re happy and encourage all our customers you to shop around and compare our pricing. Please keep in mind that our pricing reflects commodity values and can fluctuate. There are many more to choose from. These 10 karat necklaces as shown in 20 and 22 inches are priced at $545.00, $455.00, and $945.00.  Stock #431-00997, 431-01065, 431-01106.
